Sumaiya Tufail is a philanthropist, community activist, and poet from Surrey, British Columbia.

She's known for her powerful spoken word poems and philanthropic efforts empowering women and girls in Kenya. She has her own consulting business that helps non-profit organizations grow and is also finishing her undergraduate degree in International Studies at Simon Fraser University. Currently she is the president of the SFU Slam Poetry Club.
